Depending on the position of the tiles and the surrounding light, new patterns emerge. The three – dimensional wall pieces are striking and lead to a pattern of shadows that shifts with the passage of daylight. It changes expression.

Every piece is made using traditional and handmade processes, combined with brutalist shapes and bold
pattern combinations.

process
Handcrafted. The entire process is made by hand: Mixing the clay, shaping the tiles and layout composition. This makes each tile unique, the slight variation in the overall design makes for a stunning layout that is both organic and unintentional but somehow controlled. Each panel is made to order and custom made. The tiles and ideas are developed in a small studio located in the typical neighborhood of Ajuda, Lisbon.
sustainably made
The commitment to the environment is also why the panels are made to order. Not keeping a lot or any stock ensures that additional waste is not being created.
We collaborate with small, local carpentry and metalworking workshops to craft the wooden frames and supports for our tile panels. By working closely with these skilled artisans, we not only ensure high-quality craftsmanship but also promote environmentally responsible practices, supporting local businesses and reducing our carbon footprint.
Whenever possible, we aim to source all the materials locally.
